You can choose to configure the advanced options if you like. When you are finished, click the “Save Changes” button.

2. Set Up And Assign The Field Group And Custom Fields

This step works exactly the same way as it does for adding custom fields to regular pages, so I won’t give a full description here. In summary, you need to

  1. Go to ACF>Field Groups
  2. Click the “Add New” button
  3. Add a title for the Field Group
  4. Add any custom fields you want
  5. Set the location rules to show this Field Group if the Options Page is equal to the [Options Page title]

For more information about these steps, please check the ACF resources:

3. Add Data To Custom Fields

Now that you have set up and assigned the custom fields for the global options page, it is time to add data to the custom fields. Technically you can add this after linking the modules, but I recommend adding some data now, as it will help you in step #4 to see data populate the fields when you view the page on the frontend.
